Make the Earth how you wantĪccording to The Brothers Brick, a Lego fan website that reviewed the World Map before its official release, toy bricklayers have several options on how they put together Lego’s largest project: “This new addition to the Lego Art collection contains the most pieces ever included in a set in the Lego Group’s history, with its 11,695 elements allowing builders to immerse themselves in creating a stunning representation of the earth from 2D Lego tiles,” according to Lego’s press release. When completed, the Earth’s five continents are a solid white, while the oceans - which make most of the planet’s surface - provide color to the map.Lego has labeled the global projection for ages 18 and older - presumably for it’s complication.Once the thousands of mini bricks are put into place, the World Map will be 26 inches tall by 41 inches wide.
